In-Person Training will be held at 2000 Classen Center in OKC on December 19, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Please bring a pencil for coursework. These clinics are for players under 15 years of age. Each team can send two players to each clinic. Each player may sign up for one clinic ONLY.
This training replaces the Junior Scorer or the Junior R2 online training available through the USAV Academy accessible through the player’s USAV/OKRVA membership in Sports Engine. Completion of this certificate will still require evaluation ratings earned during a match.
R2 rating sheets filled out by an adult certified R1 can be submitted to margojuergens@att.net or you can upload them to your USAV Academy Course, i.e. OK24_012 USAV Junior R2 Training. Directions for this upload to USAV Academy is available on okrva.com under the Officiating Tab – USAV Academy Upload Rating Instructions. Completed score sheets for evaluation may be sent to Margo as well.
PLEASE NOTE – Even though the address is on Classen, the entrance to the parking lot and building is on Western Avenue. An overhead view of the facility is below. The clinics will be in the east tower just south of where NW 20th dead ends into Western Avenue. Park in the lot on the north of the building. (The rightmost one of the three buildings in the picture. It has Big Brothers Big Sisters of OK labelled on the picture, but the clinic will not be in their facility, so don’t ask for them.) The clinics will be on the 6th floor and there will be signage from the elevator to the conference rooms. If you need help with directions, call contact Margo.
